Geocache Description:

The cache is NOT hidden at the posted coordinates. Don't go there! If you do go there I will be pretty impressed.

Wooohoo! Over the years of geocaching I'm sure you have came across hundreds of different types of geoache containers. But which of them are the best? The 50 Caliber Ammo Can makes an excellent small dry box for repair kits, personal gear and first aid supplies or your ammo. They're rugged, waterproof and built to last. They are constructed of heavy guage steel for bombproof protection. The rubber lid gasket ensures a watertight seal.Latches securely to keep contents safe.It has a sturdy folding carry handle and a metal loop for attaching with a carabiner or strap.Inside dimensions are 11''L x 5 1/2''W x 7''D.  Good condition. But best of all these containers make fantastic geocaches!

  • Canadian military surplus
  • Steel construction
  • Rubber lid gasket
  • Secure latch
  • Sturdy folding carry handle
  • Metal attachment loop
  • Inside dimensions 11in. L x 5 1/2in. W x 7in. D.
  • NOTE:  These cans may have different stenciling other than 50 cal on the side for example 5.56mm but is the exact same can, same size just different stenciling used by the military for organization purposes.
  • Ammo Can Demo: https://youtu.be/pEKoBscx0rM
It is obvious the ammo can is superior to all other containers for several reasons!

NOTE: At ground zero where the cache is hidden there is a old rusty bit of barbed wire from a old farm fence. Please ensure children do NOT go near the physical hide. Please be careful!
