Geocache Description:

An easy grab and there is a small pull-off, just be careful during high-traffic season.

One of the Caches in the Boothbay Region Corridor series. These caches will lead you down the peninsula through Edgecomb, Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor and Southport. Bordered by the Sheepscot and Damariscotta rivers, and the Atlantic Ocean, this is one of the most beautiful areas in the Midcoast of Maine, offering a multitude of nature walks and vistas, entertainments, and dining. A wonderful place to visit, but also a great place to live!

One of our favorite views on the way up or down the peninsula. This winding tributary leads westward to the tidal basin called Oven’s Mouth off the Sheepscot River. The east side is bordered by a preserve with parking (and a few more caches) if desired.
