Geocache Description:

An interesting little cache at a place you might visit if you are taking the 2Km hike or bike to Cross Creek.

Thomas Crapper was a plumber who founded Thomas Crapper & Co in London. Crapper did not invent the flush toilet, but his company name became synonomous with it and he himself did much to increase the popularity of the toilet. Thus we often refer to using the toilet as "going to the crapper".

In the olden days before flush toilets inside, most folks had an outhouse, that was either over a deep hole or with a basin underneath that could be emptied. Some of these are still seen in back-water areas of the US and elsewhere in the world.

In the outdoors, most often these devices are called long-drops, for the depth of the hole dug in the ground, and with no flushing action available. At Cross Creek itself are three such long-drops, but there is one tucked away at this location as well.

Your mission, should you choose to undertake it, is to find how to get there, locate and sign the cache, and get away again without the vast amount of muggles that inhabit the carpark spotting what you are doing. Good luck!

Please NOTE that you must sign the logbook for each individual cachers or proof of a photo for group logs, otherwise your log may be deleted.
