Blue stone rocks are a box Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Shell Leavers: After 111 finds on this and 19 favorite points I've decided it was time to archive it. It was on a slippery slope and the container had fallen apart. I promise to hide a new and improved cache in the area soon.

Geocache Description:

This one is unique and we think quite fun.  I got the idea when I started placing the Blue Stone Rocks caches and by the time I had this one made and ready to hide, I'd already used three good hiding spots so it took a while to find a home for this cache.  Parking is close to the cache.

It is loaded with swag including plastic frogs, lizards, dinosaurs and, of course, shells.    I really enjoyed making this and hope you like it when you find it.   Happy hunting!

Euclid Creek Park is another Gem in the Metro Parks emerald necklace. It features wooded hillsides where the rare rock chestnut oak grows. The reservation is located in Euclid, South Euclid and Richmond Heights. The southern portion of the reservation is the site of a "ghost town." The village of Bluestone flourished in the late 1800s and early 1900s when its populace quarried the blue-gray siltstone for use in building sidewalks and other construction such as the walls, bridges, and recently this cache box in this park.
