Go fish! Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

crb11: Yes it has gone for the third time this year. Pretty sure someone is deliberately removing it so time to archive. Thanks for all who have found it and enjoyed it. Hoping someone can find a good home for a new cache in the space created.

Geocache Description:

A sneaky magnetic key-holder hidden in a muggle-infested area of central Cambridge.

GPS reception is likely to be difficult here. The position on the map gives a good idea of where in the square the cache is. I am happy to give a more detailed hint to those who need it.

Formerly a rather grotty concrete space outside the Job Centre, Fisher Square was renovated in 2007 together with the opening of the neighbouring Grand Arcade shopping centre. It now has places to sit, small trees and a sculpture, as well as being a popular thoroughfare between other parts of the city during the day and especially in the evening: much of Cambridge's nightlife is nearby.

Fisher Square is named after Fisher House, the University Catholic Chaplaincy, in turn named after St John Fisher, Bishop of Rochester and Chancellor of Cambridge University, but eventually executed for refusing to support Henry VIII's divorce of Catherine of Aragon.
