This cache is the first for The Feather Family. It is located on the point at the easternmost end of the peninsula that is the Goose Pond Colony. The cache is overlooking the Tennessee River. You will park your vehicle at one of Alabama's bird watching sites. The cache is a short walk down a wooded path. It is a medium sized plastic box with log and goodies. Take your time. Enjoy the stroll through the mature hardwoods. If possible time your visit so that you can watch the sunset from the point or the parking area. From here you will witness one of the prettiest sunset views on the river.
