Geocache Description:

My first cache in a new housing estate off Sandpit Road, Calne. The new road names are named after aircraft that have served in the Royal Air Force at nearby Lyneham. [Anson, Comet (216Sqn), Dakota (24Sqn), Hastings (24Sqn), Hercules (24Sqn,30Sqn,47Sqn,70Sqn), York (1310 Flight)]

This cache is sited where we like to walk our dogs. Before the building of this new estate, this path would have been extremely boggy during the winter months requiring wellies at the very least. We don’t have to don them anymore! In the summer we could throw balls for the dogs to catch, or occasionally talk to the horses in one of the fields.
This walk is still popular with dog walkers so watch out for muggles.

The cache contains a log book and pencil. It is a plastic cylinder with push fit top.
