Varg Veum

Varg Veum is the central character in a series of crime novels, written by the Norwegian author Gunnar Staalesen, about a private detective who lives in Bergen.

Gunnar Staalesen has written 18 books about Varg Veum, the first one in 1977. The 18. book came in 2012. The books have been published in 14 different languages.
During the last years, from 2007, there has been made 12 movies about Varg Veum based on the books.
