Geocache Description:

A short Multi, walking is advisable, parking is near the start point if required.

Stirling’s Random Multi #1

The cache is NOT at the published grid reference, there is parking nearby in the obvious retail area.

Stirling has a few multi caches, the majority are history related. I decided to do a random multi, just to get people out and about, and see a little bit of Stirling without knowing the history.

You will have to gather information from each waypoint, and use the information to find the final cache.

Start point:  Look for a green electrical box, there is a prominent yellow label on the south of the box, make a note of the 1st and 2nd number and multiply them together.

= A (sticker has gone the answer is 6)

Waypoint 1:  Upon arrival at this waypoint, you will be surrounded by cars, look for a noticeboard, look the the gold coloured letters, the first word at the top (using A=1, B=2 etc) what does the 5th letter represent?

 = B

Waypoint 2:  Whilst heading to the start of the main High Street you pass a bright blue door with 4 gold numbers on it, what is the second digit?.

 = C

Waypoint 3:  Make your way towards the castle, there is a few ways to get there, so choose wisely. Once at this waypoint look for a small side street, using the 5th letter divide it by the 8th letter minus the number of punctuation symbols.

= D, the sign has now gone, the answer is 0, you can still see the name on a map.

Waypoint 4:  You are now outside a new attraction in Stirling, outside the attraction is a blue history sign, make a note of the dates that a certain individual was Prime Minister, use the 4th number from the first date and add the 1st number of the 2nd date?

 = E

Waypoint 5:  You will find yourself near a church, on the railings there is a black and white direction sign, what letter does the 6th letter represent?

= F

Waypoint 6:  Before continuing to the next waypoint, if time permits, continue having a look in the nearby area. You will be standing in front of a house(number 76), look up a little, and find the old style street lights (it's a metal basket), count the number of curved vertical struts minus the number of lights above the door?

 = G

Waypoint 7:  Final waypoint, (the bank has closed now) look at the door to the left of the 3 ground floor windows, how many letterboxes does it have?

= H
