There are certain places that will be obvious to experienced cachers and, yes, it is in one of those places. (Hopefully the gardeners will not move it on too soon!) There is ample parking.
Take the short drive along to the settlement of Totara North and view the remains of the old kauri timber mill (it is on the roadside) and also the wharf and its attendant business (it is still a commercial fishing base). Bring your lines and try your luck!
Also try the other caches hidden in the area.
