Aerial Intelligence - Burleigh County, ND
(Posted coordinates are bogus - Read the instructions on how to find the cache)


This cache was inspired by other Aerial Intelligence caches scattered around the country. Each one is different, so here is my version.

Your task:

This cache can only partially be solved from the cache page. Obtaining vital information needed to solve the cache coordinates can only be found by visiting the location marked by the red arrow on the map.

Ready? Here are the coordinates:

And here is the Rand McNally map:


Visit the location above, and locate a 4-digit number that ends in six, and call it ‘A’.

To solve the NORTH coordinates, take ‘A’ and add 52,061.

Next, find the pair of identical numbers, and call it ‘B’ & the 4-digit number that ends in seven, and call it ‘C’

To solve the WEST coordinates, subtract ‘B’ from ‘C’, then add 49,919.

Interpreting Aerial Photographs

Interpreting an aerial photograph requires a little skill. People spend years becoming proficient photo-interpreters, and the amateur or casual user of these images is wise to spend a few minutes learning to distinguish a small cloud shadow from a small lake, an air force base from a civilian airport, or a stand of young timber from a grassy hillside.

Got the coordinates? You will be looking for a small lock n’ lock with a log and trade items. It is fairly simple to find.
