Dinosaur is an obvious qualifier and dino will work. San BernarDINO is not okay. Any of the ....saurus' will do. Mammoth is good if it refers to a creature but a "great big thing of mammoth proportions" does not refer to a prehistoric animal. There are plenty of these caches around.
