I've giving the original Sandy Beach cache an 1-up, an extra life so that many more cachers can walk this great coastal path from Elie to St Monans or vice versa.
I contracted the original owner, out of respect if that I could replace the cache and keep it going. With great enjoyment to me, they said yes and here we are now!
The Coastal Path between St Monans and Elie has always been well used by me throughout my life, I've either done it for fun, or just a route back that I use to take when walking home from High School. It has changed a little throughout the years due to the weather, but it has always been looked after by the local communities and council's.
The path contains great beaches at various spots, plant life and if your luck you can see seals on the rocks in the summer.
