What better way to show our appreciation that a heart-shaped cache, filled with SWAG and camoed to fit its environment of course!
We can't think of a better location than Chase Palm Park to share the love and express our appreciation to the geocaching community for all the fun. We've been coming to this park since the day it opened. There's gold panning in the river, a restored 1920's-era carousel at one end, a pirate-themed playground and whales that surface from the grass and spray water at random intervals to the shock and delight of all.
When it comes to geocaches we've found, and cachers we've met and grown to know, we really don't know where to begin, nor do we have space to fit them all. But here's at least a partial list:
Santa Barbara’s two tireless reviewers, Marko Raimus and Lava Lizard
$$Tracker, who hid the first cache we ever found
Storm Cachers (“ol Stormy”)
GoJo Force, who’ve beaten us to lots of FTFs
GeoBigDogs, looking down from on high
Ron Fisk, evil cachemaster extraordinaire
Holazola, puzzle-cacher extraordinare
Brier Random, who hides great swag-filled caches
KMBHunt, who introduced us to the sport
Yokogari, awesome cache hider and finder
Cachetro Valley, who inspired us to keep at it
4-Cache, brother and cousins
Illogical Vulture, son and brother
Geoshwin, who’s hid more caches than we’re likely to find in a lifetime.
Nimskittles, who re-swaged the cache.
And finally,
Team Geo Rangers, who showed us it’s all good!
