Dame Jane Morris Goodall, (born 3 April 1934 - 1 October 2025) was a British primatologist, ethologist, and anthropologist. Considered to have been the world's foremost expert on chimpanzees, Goodall was best known for her 45-year study of social and family interactions of wild chimpanzees in Gombe Stream National Park, Tanzania.
