Please arrive at 12:00 Noon EDST for lunch and fellowship until 1:00 P.M. For those interested there is a woodland "geo-walk" after the event that should take about four hours.
Regroup at the parking area at 5:00 P.M.
Leave the event area at 6:00 P.M.
This is a beautiful location for winter-weary geocachers to gather for a picnic lunch amidst many acres of gardens and hardwood forest trails.
Bring your lunch as well as geocaching stories and trackables to share with other keen cachers celebrating the departure of the "Polar Vortex".
While in the woodland garden area please be especially careful to stay on the established paths and trails as the botanical garden contains many species of flora and fauna that could easily be damaged.
Pets are NOT permitted on the property and children should be closely supervised.
Bring your bush boots, long sleeves and long pants for protection against wet ground as well as scrapes and insects (which we hope will be minimal at this time of year.
Cell phone coverage at this time is limited to a weak signal from the recently installed Bell / Virgin Mobile towers. No other service providers currently have coverage in the vicinity of the event.
Please log your intention to attend this celebration of snow-less geocaching :)
