Geocache Description:

Earth Day is officially April 22, but we are working on the Saturday after Earth Day to help clean up one of the best caching areas in the state.

April 26, 2014
11:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Meet in the parking lot at the trail head Indian Fort Trails at 11:00. If you cannot be there at 11:00, that's ok. Feel free to join us and pitch in as soon as you can.

After a short briefing for instructions, we will be sending teams out to each of the lookouts to pick up trash along the trail and at the lookout. Be sure to bring your own gloves and dress accordingly for the weather. You may want to bring a backpack. We will provide trash bags and some gloves, but it may be easier to carry the bags down the hill when they are full if you have a backpack.

We will have a cooler and some water, but please be prepared to be on the trail for at least a couple of hours. It would probably be wise to bring a small snack or energy bar.

Thanks to Clint Patterson and the Berea College Forestry Department for working with us.
