Geocache Description:

Cache is not at the posted coordinates!

As some of you may or may not know, I am a major Star Trek fan. My love of the show started when I was 7 years old watching reruns of the Original Series and new episodes of The Next Generation. I was hooked from the very first episode. From 1987 until 2005 there was always a Star Trek incarnation on the air and each new episode was a highlight of my week. I have actually gone to a couple conventions. People think that they may sound geeky, but actually they are really fun time I have decided to create a series of caches inspired by the show. To start the series off, I have decided to quiz you on your knowledge of Trek. For my fellow Trekkers, this should be solved in a pinch. Others, you may need some help.

1. What is the registry number of the Enterprise of the Original Series? Add up all the numbers until it reaches a single digit. Assign that number to the letter A.

2. What season of Star Trek: The Next Generation was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series? Assign that number to the letter B.

3. On Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, what was Deep Space Nine’s former name? Add up all the letters in the name. Assign that number to the letter C.

4. On Star Trek: Voyager, what is Voyager’s top warp speed? Add up all the numbers until it reaches a single digit. Assign that number to letter D.

5. On Star Trek: Enterprise, how fast was the Enterprise NX-01’s engine designed to go? Assign that number to the letter E.

6. How many Star Trek movie appearances was Mark Lenard in?  Assign that number to the letter F.

7. Where were Darmok and Jalad at? Add up the letters. Assign that number to the letter G

8. Who was Quarks most regular customer? Add up all the letters. Assign that number to the letter H.

9. How many Kazon sects were there? Add up the numbers to make a single digit. Assign that number to the letter I.

10. How many Vulcans served on the NX-01? Assign that number to the letter J.

To solve for the coordinates
N (A-E) (C-G)° (A-B) (D+E).(D X 2) (A-C) (A) W (E+D-C) (I)(F-H)° (H-J) (E-F-J).(J) (I-D)(G-D)

Congrats to drtmn and drjrm for FTF!
