thepinkertonboys: I got an email from geocaching reviewer saying that it had been reported to geocaching.com that these caches don't comply with the Metro Vancouver caching requirement that there be at least 500m between caches. I didn't realize this was a Metro Vancouver Greenway, nor did the reviewer, and the caches were published. As a result, five of the six caches in this series had to be archived. I wonder who the self-appointed rule enforcer was who had the time and energy to bother to report this.
I suspect the environmental impact of the gasoline spill in the Holmes Creek that I tried to report to Metro Vancouver last weekend (but they were uninterested in following up on), the several homeless camps, and the abandoned motorcycle that I found in the bush at the east end of the trail will be far greater than 6 small pieces of Tupperware hidden at the side of the gravel trail. But rules are rules.
Hopefully Metro Vancouver will see the light and change their rules.
