Kevin Bieksa was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks 151st overall in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. He was born on June 16, 1981 in Grimsby, ON, he’s 6’0” tall, weighs in at 206lbs, plays Defence & shoots Right. Bieksa was named Captain for Team Canada in the 2014 IIHF World Championships, his first time playing for Team Canada, his first "C" and the first player with no previous international experience to be named Team Canada’s captain.
On June 30, 2015, after waiving his no-trade clause, Kevin Bieksa was traded to the Anaheim Ducks. Bieksa & Kesler together again!
