Starting at 1pm, we will meet at the entrance to the former Bowater lands, now owned by the citizens of Nova Scotia. Gloves, bags, pickup of filled bags, and water will be available for all who come out to assist. The goal is to clean Hiking Trail Road up to the parking log for the trails; approximately 6.5km. Return transportation to the start of the road will be available. The event ends at 4pm; rain date will be announced if required.
This event will be adjacent to another CITO nearby, so those who want to earn two CITO icons that day just need to set the day aside to give back to the community.
Prizes will be available, and sponsors will be listed on this page as they are secured. Please post your "will attend" so appropriate supplies can be obtained.
