Geocache Description:

This cache should be OK for 2WD with high clearance. Use common sense.

WELCOME TO PARADISE SPRINGS ROAD!

This series of caches allows you to connect the Phonetic Alphabet Series with the frontage roads along I 15 so that you don’t have to retrace your travels. It was laid out North to South but can be run in either direction. All caches are either Regular or Small.

From either end it starts out as a high clearance 2WD road but there is a wash and deep sand South of #10 and North of number #13 that that may require 4WD. It was laid out in a Suzuki Samurai in 2WD with good clearance, good traction and great tires. I will point out in the short description if I feel 4WD is necessary. The ratings will reflect how I drove the route in laying it out. As always how you go is up to you, but remember it’s a long walk out to the freeway so please use common sense.

Paradise Springs was a water source for the Alvord mine and the road was developed to serve the springs that served the mine.

There is lots of room for other caches out here, so please feel free to place one or more of your own. This will make it more fun for others and ME, as I will have caches to find when I am doing maintenance!

Caution!! As with any desert Cache, NEVER put your hands in or under any rocks or containers that you can't see fully. Always turn over rocks with a stick before picking them up. Things that like to bit and sting love to hide and wait just for you! Always take extra WATER with you.
