Geocache Description:

One of East Texas' most breathtaking views, Love's Lookout, north of Jacksonville in Cherokee County is part of a long, flat-topped hill that extends north and south about nine miles. The east side looks over a broad valley with an expansive view.

The Lookout began its history in the 1930's and has changed its face a number of times. Near the coordinates you will find an information center that is open 24 hours a day, a number of historical plaques detailing the life of this land and a breathtaking view of East Texas. The goal that I bestow upon you, is to venture around the Lookout and gather the information that will then help you calculate the final coordinates that are nearby.
