This Geoart is part of a nationwide project. THE USA 50 STATE STAR GEOART celebrates every state in the USA. Our Goal is to have a "50 STATE STAR" in each state of the USA. Look for the States that proudly display the "STAR"!




This 50 State Star celebrates the Wild, Wonderful Mountain State of WEST VIRGINIA.


The West Virginia Star is composed of 51 Star caches. All of the caches are puzzles. Each cache page will present West Virginia trivia - past and present, people, places, history and such stuff.

Most of the caches in this Star are 1.5/1.5 although a few of greater difficulty and terrain are sprinkled in. All are 35 mm film canisters. All contain a logsheet that will need to be signed. Be sure to bring your own writing implement.
