BRAVO Fir Fold Traditional Cache

A small container nestled near the well-marked junction of the Towne and Bravo Fire Roads of Pescadero Creek County Park.  Space for log only; BYOP.

Several trails lead to this junction but day trippers may enjoy starting from Heritage Grove in Sam McDonald/Pescadero Creek Park near La Honda. The Trailhead at Alpine Rd. offers limited parking however from here one can make a short detour to view some of the most magnificent redwoods in the park.  As you begin your uphill hike from the trailhead, stay to the left; once you emerge from the forest onto the ridge, the Towne Fire Rd is before you.  The Hiker’s Hut is close by but when in use, courteous day hikers keep to the Towne Rd.  But, on your way down to the cache there is a picnic table on the right or a little further down the road, another bench/view spot at the Prankster’s Perch cache.  Enjoy!
