Geocache Description:

This is the point where the John Kyrle Walk loops back to the River Wye and heads back up the river bank to Wilton Bridge.

The Area

This is the point where the John Kyrle Walk loops back to the River Wye and heads back up the river bank to Wilton Bridge forming a lovely little loop walk.

In this area John Kyrle apparently had a summer house so that he could come away from the busy Town and have some peace and enjoy the views which are impressive both getting here if walking along the path from Ross. The rating is based on that walk.

Sadly this is now also right next to the Ross Sewerage processing station and also nearby are chicken houses so it can get a bit "fragrant" if the wind is from the wrong direction.

The Cache

The cache is a camoed screw top container and can hold geo-tat and trackable items. It contains a log book and a pencil. Please do not put the pencil in the bag.

Please replace as found!
