My wife (Beth) built this cache and has been waiting for a good place to hide it. We decided to hide this cache here in respect of the snow storm of the decade.
This cache is just off a road in the Sumter National Forest. We had to use our 4wd truck to access the location and even then, it was exciting due to the 7 inches if snow and ice that had fallen the past 3 days. This kind of storm only comes once in a blue moon for SC so we couldn't help ourselves. We had to get out and hide a cache, as well as play in it. You do not need a 4wd truck to access the cache on a normal day. It's located off a gravel road that is well maintained.
