The village of Witherley is set back from the A5 and is right on the Leicestershire/Warwickshire border. The River Anker runs alongside the village and the churchyard so take care with any younger cachers. Some bread to feed the ducks nearby could provide a nice addition to looking for the cache. St Peters steeple is an iconic landmark whilst travelling along this part of the A5 with its height appearing way out of line for the modest size of the village.
To obtain the final coordinates you need to look around you at the starting coordinates and spot an interesting plaque regarding Queen Victoria. To avoid any confusion the plaque can be seen from the starting coordinates and is outside the churchyard. There is a date on the plaque ABCD.
The cache can be found at 34. (Ax2) B 5.... 31. (C-D) D C. Please enjoy this area but park sensibly in the village.
“If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first at churchmicro@gmail.com so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
