Geocache Description:

A hidden remnant from the Dunfermline to Stirling railway line, forgotten and left to rot.

Grade C listed, the bridge has been standing at least since the Dunfermline to Stirling route opened in 1850. For a simple bridge spanning the track, it was fairly ornate. This and Buffies Brae viaduct are the only substantial remains close to what was Dunfermline Upper station.

The bridge is pretty delapidated, go on it at your own risk!

Stealth required as this is a public thoroughfare, and the bridge is next to a house (although you can remain out of view when looking for the cache). There are also some industrial units here with plenty of comings and goings.

The cache itself is not on the bridge. The GPS signal was flaky and kept putting us about 4 metres out, but the clue will help. Please make sure the cache remains out of view.

GZ isn't the nicest area, it gets used for dumping rubbish which is a shame. You do not have to go near the rubbish for the cache or put your hand anywhere near rubbish.
