This is the fourth in a series of traditional caches to be released in the coming weeks to commemorate the most successful film franchise in history. The series will include:
#1 Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
#2 Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
#3 Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
#4 Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
#5 Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
#6 Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
#7 Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Parts 1 & 2)
Each of these seven traditional caches will include clues written on the back of the logs that will lead you to the final puzzle cache, Hogwarts.
The first to find prize for the final cache will be four tickets to see the final film of the series at an Ultra Star Cinemas near you.
The Harry Potter film series is based on the novels by author J. K. Rowling. The series includes eight films culminating this month with the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2. The series became the most successful film franchise once it surpassed the James Bond film series in 2007 with the release of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
This fourth cache is in honor of the film Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. The opening of the film finds Harry and friends on their way to the Quidditch World Cup. They take a short hike up a grassy hill in search of a Portkey that they will use to transport themselves to the games. A Portkey is an object enchanted to instantly bring anyone touching it to a specific location. Most of the time, a Portkey is an everyday object that would not draw the attention of a Muggle. Can you locate the Portkey?
