The Wallace Fountain was a newly installed fountain in downtown Macau. It was donated by the Macao Water Supply Co. and placed in its location in 2004. The fountain features a steam of flowing water that pours out from the centre of a dome at its top. The roof of the fountain is supported by four figures representing the virtues of simplicity, temperance, charity and goodness.
Next to the fountain, Bajiaoting Library, a little two story octagonal building, is used frequently as a directional landmark. Built as a reading room to encourage literacy, this little institution is once again being used as a library having been used for various purposes over the years. Built in a traditional Chinese style it is one of the few remaining examples in the area.
The cache is a nano cache hidden in this busy place. Please be stealth.
