This cache has been archived.

Jacaru & Wemnog: Time to fold the tents and shut the caravan doors,
Time to wave goodbye to friends,
Who travelled across hills and over moors.

Time to reflect on a perfect event, which provided us with fun,
Time to plan the year ahead
as this one is now done.

So see you all, old friends and new,
For Summer's End next year
The location, true, it has been changed
To Derbyshire take your gear

The date is set, the site is booked
we hope that you can join in
whether caravan, or motorhome
or if you are just tentin'

If the date's too far away
and you need a camp betwixt
we have for you, our Lakeland break
to throw in to the mix

If you want more details
about when and where and what
just contact me and ask for more
I'll tell you all the lot

There is a farm shop on site for basics.

Children are welcomed and a free tour of the farm is always on offer for them. There is also a decent childrens play area where the kids can play safely without supervision.

Well behaved dogs are also welcomed.

Please book directly with the farm after March 21st and explain that you want to be with the geocaching group.

Please book after March 20th 2014 on

01530 411984 or
077 0903 2390 or
078 8941 8054

Pitching is from midday on Friday

The venue is a working farm so do be aware that farm machinery will be moving about.
The farm is nicely tucked away and there isn't any street lighting so make sure you have torches for the dark evenings.

Come and join us for a weekend of fun, caching, chatting and much more. With plenty of caches already in the area to suit all tastes, there is even a circuit that can be done by 4x4 vehicles.

No doubt there will be a quiz on the Saturday night along with some singing from our regular attendees. No Summer's End event would be the same without a rendition of Let It Be!
