The pub has a large car park, and there are bus stops adjacent. The railway station in Bury St Edmunds is just over a mile away (Google says it takes 25 minutes to walk. It must be assuming there's not a cache en route!)
Geocachers from all over the East of England (and further afield!) are warmly invited to the first meeting related to the UK Mega 2015 which is planned to be held in the East of England region.
A small group of people have been doing some preliminary work "behind the scenes" and now it's time to share what's happened so far, what's planned to happen, and what needs to be done to make the UK Mega 2015 happen in the East of England!
As well as much Mega related stuff (and no, you won't be forced to sign up to commit to anything!) there will be the usual happenings when cachers get together:
* lots of chat, and swapping of hints, tips, and nudges for puzzles!
* trackables and coin moving on zone
* bring your trackables and coins to discover
* a fun little quiz to tax the grey cells
* a tombola
The venue for this gathering is the function room of The Woolpack Inn.
Children are welcome, but unfortunately, no dogs in this room, please.
The pub does serve food, if you think you will be eating, please make a note in your "will attend" log, so Graham and his team can be forewarned.
