Washington's Birthday Traditional Cache

What a beautiful day to hide a new cache and fly Old Glory. Did you know that the official name for the Federal holiday is actually WASHINGTON'S BIRTHDAY? It has been a Federal holiday since 1886 per Section 6103(a), Ttile 5 of the United States Code. This cache is located just outside of Cloudcroft, so it will be easy to get to unless the forest road is too muddy or the snow is too deep. BYOP.

Parking is located off the road and the walk to the cache should only take 5 minutes. As always, watch for animals, muggles and be prepared for standard hiking hazards. Caching gear such as tweezers, pen and flashlight may be helpful.
