CIC - Alms Houses Traditional Cache

The Croston Inner Circle of caches will hopefully provide an entertaining couple of hours. They are varied hides and some are trickier than others. The footpaths are clear throughout, but it is muddy in places. There a few stiles to climb but generally the terrain is flat.

If on foot please take care here as you wil have to cross the Yarrow Bridge which has no pavement.

These are some of Croston's Alms Houses. 

Croston was a hard-working village but it did look after its poor, as these and other sets of alms houses prove.

These were funded by the Masters family who were landowners and rectors of the church.
