The cache is located a short distance off the Laramie Greenbelt trail, which follows the Laramie River for much of the route. For most of the year the paved walkway is open to walk, run, or ride bikes and in the winter, the walkway is usually cleared of snow. The greenbelt might not be accessible in the spring and early summer due to flooding. If there are barriers up, please, for your safety, do not go around them as the trails could be under water or under construction. Snow depth could make the cache difficult to locate.
We have seen many different animals along the trail, including deer, antelope, and many different birds. Dogs are allowed, but must be on a leash.
