Aliens have arrived in Auburn. Although they can sometimes act as if they are from another planet, I am not referring to the students, but rather to genuine ETs or little green men from Mars. A team was sent to investigate when we received reports of a possible landing. This strange object was the first thing found when the team arrived at the site. When I picked it up, I felt a weird compulsion to place it on my head and post a photo of me wearing the object online. When other members of the team touched the object, they felt the same compulsion.
After much discussion, it was decided that this compulsion was the alien's attempt at mind control. We could not reach a consensus on the reason for the attempt at mind control. Some argued that it was the alien's idea of a practical joke, others that it was an attempt to communication, and with the more paranoid members arguing that it was part of some bizarre attempt at world domination.
The higher-ups initial reaction was to isolate the object and lock it away in storage for protection. We were able to get them to reconsider and convinced them that we needed to test the alien's strength by exposing the object to more people.
