The event will take place at Mingo Parks' Pavilion #4. Lunch will be served at 12:00 PM and the caching will start at 12:30. Prizes will be passed out at 4:30 PM. We ask everyone to please bring a covered dish and post what you will be bringing in your log. We will provide Pop, Water, Burgers, Buns and all the fixins.
What do you cary in your caching pack? Will it help you open the caches? Each cache will need a tool to open/retrieve once you remove the container and sign the log you record the code on top of the log. Once you have found all of that caches bring the paper back to the pavilion and receive your tickets. Each cache will be work a certain number of tickets and finding all of the will be worth a bonus number of tickets.
Caches will vary from a 1-1 to a 5-5 and everything in between. Our goal is to make this a fun and enjoyable day for all so after the prizes are given out, we will take everyone (if you want to), and show them what they need and how to open all the caches.
As we have some really nice prizes to give away we ask you limit team work to no more than two caching names, Tickets will be awarded per caching name not per person to try and keep it fair (ex. If you have a group of 5 people with one caching name you will get the same number of tickets that a single person would get).
We will also play Caching Bingo and Who Can Get Close To The Pin.
Please check back often as we will update the cache page often as we get closer to the event. Updates will be below this line.

The question came up about the caches and weather they were perm or temps, We plan on doing about 20-30 caches and 5-10 will be perm caches. The park has a lot of caches in it so it makes it hard to place more.
We received a package today with donations for prizes including a new GPS!!! I'm really excited about that!
