Geocache Description:

Mystery at Fort Drum (My First Mystery Cache)

If you are traveling on the Florida Turnpike and happen to stop at the Fort Drum Service Plaza and have some time to spare, a mystery cache is waiting to be solved.  The cache is not at the posted coordinates.  However, in this area near the entrance to the service plaza is a plaque titled "Florida Honors and Remembers our POW's and MIA's".  This is where the puzzle begins.

Puzzle: First number is the row, Second number is which word from the left, Third number is the letter in the word from the left.  Do not count the title of the plaque.

U=6,4,3     V=2,10,4     W=1,6,1     X=5,9,1     Y=3,9,1     Z=7,12,6

Sequence: a-1, b-2, c-3, d-4, e-5, f-6, g-7, h-8, i-9, and j-z-0.

Cache Location: N 27 36.UVW (Subtract .012) 080 49.XYZ (Subtract .010)

The cache is a micro with a log BYOP. It is also located in the Fort drum Service Plaza area.  On busy days, this place can get full of people, so use stealth when retrieving the cache.  Happy hunting!
