July can be the hottest month in the Berkshires, so why not get out of the mid-day heat and "chill" with the "coolest" people at the "coolest" summer place in North County: the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Skating Rink. Last year even Signal "cooled" it on the ice!
Depending on whether or not you choose to skate--and of course your own skill level-- this event could be an easy 1 terrain or a challenging 5 terrain!! Whether you want to skate or not, come on in and "cool it" with fellow cachers! It's a great way to make some new geo-friends. And you won't have to chase me onto the ice to sign the logbook!
For skating cachers the cost will be $3 per person. Bring your own skates or rent a pair for only an additional $4.
Since it's time for lunch the snack bar will be open so that you can grab a bite to eat while you are "rehashing" your caching adventures. Food will be at your own expense.
The event will take place on Thursday, July 17th from 12 noon - 2 p.m.
