I was able to pull off the road right near the EGG. There was little traffic. In the five minutes I was there only one car passed. However, it is a fairly narrow road, so obviously be careful and keep an eye on little ones you might have with you. There is a church parking lot nearby so if the pull-off becomes overgrown in the summer, you have an alternative parking area.
