A short series of caches based on the film Whisky Galore.Wellies and a fine permanent pen may help.
The 1949 film Whisky Galore based on Compton McKenzie's book was in its self based on the real life wreck of the S.S.Politician which went aground near Eriskey. In the film the Inhabitants find ingenius ways to hide the whisky from the wreck to prevent it being discovered by the 'authorities'. I have tried to emulate their hides for you to try and find. The cache is hidden amongst the old burnt down remains of The Glen Cafe built to provide refreshments to vistors walking from The Lizard across the double hedge to Kynance made especially famous by a visit of Prince Albert in 1846 who asked to be set ashore when cruising past with the royal family. This cache has been placed with the kind permission of the National Trust.
