The music video for "Stuck with You" was filmed in the Bahamas and features Keely Shaye Smith. The island that Lewis and Smith wind up on is a small island about ten miles from Paradise Island in Nassau. The video was filmed on land, on water, underwater and from the air. The band, the crew and all the extras used in the island barbecue scene had to stay on a barge moored off the island so that they wouldn't be seen. When I was a kid I used to love these videos. Looking back now, they are total 80's cheese!
Your hunt brings you to the North reservoir of Portage Lakes. Much like the music video, there are many islands nearby. The cache, however, is not marooned on an island. I came here on the night this was placed, and got my car stuck in the snow/ice in the parking lot. After trying for what felt like a lifetime to get out, I ended up calling for help. As I was sitting here waiting, I decided to place this cache. On the way home, I thought of the perfect title, keeping with the string of area music-themed caches.
Plenty of parking is available. Keep an eye out for muggles during busy season. There is room for small trades. FTF gets a gift card with a few bucks left on it. Happy Hunting, and be sure to check out the local island caches!
