My Projects #2 - Granite Mountain Records Vault Traditional Cache

This is the second of the "My Projects" series.  Bring your own pen and tweezers.

If you look up the mountain to the north, you might notice some openings in the side of the mountain that don't look natural.  This is the Granite Mountain Records Vault where the LDS Church stores the genealogy records you might find online at Ancestry.com.  There are six large Vaults deep in the mountain with special climate control to help preserve the records as well as four entry Portals where employees work, maintaining the records.  One very cool thing to note:  Even deeper into the mountain, past the Vaults, there is a water reservoir that provides the facility with all their water needs naturally from the mountain.  They are completely off the water grid.  Currently, we are working on renovating the Vaults and building a new Security Building on the side of the mountain.  Don't try to climb up there to get a closer look...it is private property and they have security around the clock. **2/25/15 - Update** The cache is not beyond the gate so you do not have to enter the private property to find it.
