Geocache Description:

We are here #5

In 2009 we placed our first cache, right next to our apartment, where we discovered it is great fun to watch people walking around looking for a cache; the question marks above heads, the relief when it's found and the pleasures of writing in the log. As we're moving ever so often, we decided to try to place a cache on a location visible from wherever we'd be living: Stavanger, Doha, Copenhagen and Frederiskberg.

Unfortunately, this incarnation is NOT visible from our home. The compound is guarded and not freely accessible; roaming cachers not allowed. Nonetheless, we still wanted to continue the series and decided to go for the next best thing: as near to the compound as possible.

Al Nassim Gardens compound

Located on the opposite side of the Radisson Hotel (the old Ramada). It's a compound with about 40 very big 3 bedroom villa's and another 40 even bigger 4 bedroom villa's.
Al Nassim Gardens is an older compound and it shows in a good way: the vegetation is matured and it looks as if people are actually living here, which we found lacking in other newer compounds.
The garden part is true to its name: each villa has a decent size garden around the house, a fairly large brick patio, a lawn, lots of blooming bushes and a couple of other plants.

About the cache

The small plastic container is just outside the wall surrounding the compound and easily accessible from the parking (Parking waypoint). The container can hold a few small TB's and/or coins. Bring your own pen(cil).

Let us know if you're going to try to find the cache; we might join your hunt and grab a coffee later on!
