Easy access, off highway parking.

I'll bet there's some interesting history here from when the mine was active. I have fairly ancient maps in my Garmin, and it shows how this rail siding from the mine used to join in to the main tracks running along the other side of Route 238. The mine has been closed for several years. I don't know when the spur was "whacked" off from the main rail, but it's plenty rusty. Note the interesting "ratchet" strips at the end....are these "arrestors" for runaway cars? How come some are bent over? Let your mind wander as you imagine what used to be. Then, get busy and find this cache! PLEASE take careful note of EXACTLY how this cache is hidden, and replace it EXACTLY the same way so others can enjoy the FUN.
