Geocache Description:

[DE] Dieser Multi führt durch das Kaltbrunner Riet, ein Naturschutzgebiet und Refugium für Vögel, Pflanzen und deren Beobachter. Es bildet einen der letzten Resten der einst ausgedehnten Sumpflandschaft in der Linthebene.
Achtung: Bitte die Wege nicht verlassen, um die Infos zu holen; das ist unnötig! Der Endcache befindet sich ausserhalb der Naturschutzzone.

Kaltbrunner_Riet

Starte bei N47 12.878 E8 59.207. Hier stehst du vor einer kleinen Hütte.
-> Notiere die Jahreszahl = AAAA
Nun geht's zu den beiden Türmen im Riet, um Vögel zu beobachten und weitere Infos zu sammeln.
Bei N47 12.837 E8 59.105 steht der hohe Aussichtsturm. Während Du hoch steigst zähle:
-> Die Anzahl Holzstufen ab der unteren Plattform bis ganz oben = BB
-> Notiere unterwegs die (zweistellige) Quersumme der gut sichtbaren vierstelligen Zahl = CC

Zurück auf dem Erdboden verschiebst du dich zum Beobachtungsturm bei N47 12.947 E8 59.141.
-> Zähle auch hier die Anzahl Stufen beim Hochsteigen in den Turm = DD

Quersumme aller Zahlen AAAA BB CC DD = 30

Hier oben kann man auch prima rechnen:
xxx = AAAA - (BB * CC) - 592
yyy = AAAA - (DD * CC) - 1428
Die Dose sollte nicht schwierig zu finden sein. Sie liegt bei
N47 12.xxx E8 59.yyy

[EN] A walk through the protected area "Kaltbrunner Riet" with a visit of two towers .
To solve this cache you don't need to leave the trails. The final box is hidden outside of the protected area.
-> Start at N47 12.878 E8 59.207 and take note of the year indicated on the little hut = AAAA
Climb on the higher of the two towers at N47 12.837 E8 59.105 and count
-> the number of wooden steps from the platform to the top = BB
-> note the cross sum (2 digits) of the 4 digit number on your way up = CC

Now go to the second tower at N47 12.947 E8 59.141.
-> Again, how many steps are there when you are climbing the tower = DD

Cross sum of all numbers AAAA BB CC DD = 30

This is also a fine place to do the number work:
xxx = AAAA - (BB * CC) - 592
yyy = AAAA - (DD * CC) - 1428
The cache should be easy to find at
N47 12.xxx E8 59.yyy
