This is a motorless area, and you will be walking uphill all the way back to the area of the cache, so be prepared with water & snacks, and let someone know where you will be going.
I saw several railroad ties on my walk around here, and I'm not quite sure of their purpose. Are they here for a new railroad line heading from Las Vegas to Salt Lake City? Maybe they will be used for a rail system to take nuclear waste up to Yucca Mountain. Or perhaps its that proposed line that will transport space aliens up to Area 51!
Or maybe the purpose of the railroad ties is much more mundane.
