Marin's Cache Traditional Cache

This cache is temporarily unavailable.

Keystone: This geocache came to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either fix the problem or archive the listing, after picking up any geo-litter. See the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines. In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled this cache page.

Owner, if there is a good reason for a long delay in enabling this cache, do not contact me through email or the message center. Please post an update note log here on the cache page so that everyone will know what's going on. When the maintenance is completed, you can re-enable the listing by entering an "enable listing" log. Use an "Owner Maintenance" log to clear the "Needs Maintenance" attribute, if set.

I will check back in four weeks or so to be sure that the maintenance has been done, or that an explanation has been provided. If the problem persists, I will need to archive this cache page for lack of maintenance.

Regards,
Keystone

Geocache Description:

This cache was placed to celebrate the 6th birthday of one of our daughter's best friends.

Marin's Cache is located in Radio Range Park in the Village of Indian Hill.

"Radio Range Park was conveyed to the Village in 1972 by the National Park Services Federal Lands to Parks Programs. At the time the property was valued at $100,000. The park is comprised of 10&1⁄2 acres and includes a covered shelter area, picnic benches, and rolling lawns. The park contains radio towers used by the FAA and is on the southern side of Indian Hill Road." -excerpt from Indian Hill Village Bulletin, Nov. 2011

Adequate parking is available near the shelter.   A short walk and a little "bushwhacking" will get you to the cache.  Please leave the cache hidden as you found it.

The cache itself is a large green ammo box "enhanced" with camouflage duck tape. ;-)

Initial contents (picked out by a 3 and 5 year old) include:
-toy skateboard
-rubber eyeball ball
-wooden trolley car
-bracelet
-small Furby figurine
(a few other toys I can't remember)

Use the enclosed pencil and notepad to sign in your visit.

Happy Caching!
