Queen are one of the greatest rock bands in history, formed in London in 1971, originally consisting of the late Freddie Mercury, Brian May, John Deacon, and Roger Taylor. The band has released a total of 18 #1 albums, and 18 #1 singles worldwide. Their album sales are estimated to be around 200 million, making them one of the world's best-selling music artists.
It was the release of “A Night at the Opera” in 1975 that first brought the band to international prominence and the featured single "Bohemian Rhapsody", launched their long careers, charting at number one in the UK Singles Chart for nine weeks.
Recently, Queens “Greatest Hits” album sold its 6 millionth copy in the U.K.
This cache is named after: - “Headlong" which was written by guitarist Brian May and was initially to be recorded by May for his then-upcoming solo album, but when he heard Queen vocalist Freddie Mercury sing the track, he allowed it to become a Queen song.
It includes the lines
And you're rushing headlong you've got a new goal
And you're rushing headlong out of control
